Designing cultures of learning.
Rachel is a Senior Director at IDEO, working in the Learning Studio. She has led teams designing innovations and transformations for middle schools, community colleges, non-profits, large corporations, and the federal government.
I bring a design approach and a sensibility of empowerment to everything I do.
Her recent work has focused on digital literacy, the future of women in the workplace, the future of work itself, and applying design inward at IDEO — leading hiring, onboarding, and organizational change to help the company become less white and male.
Before IDEO, she graduated from Wells College in New York as a first-generation college student, joined Teach For America, spent six years with KIPP, supported students through the I Have a Dream Foundation, and served as Director of Engagement at the non-profit Character Lab.
