Designing the IDEO employee experience.

IDEO is one of the most inspiring workplaces on the planet—a place where we come to do the best creative work of our lives and have a disproportionate positive impact on the world through design. As co-leader of IDEO’s Talent team, I help design what it means to be an IDEOer. I shape the full employee experience—from joining and growing, to teaching, contributing, and transitioning into alumnihood—working at the intersection of talent strategy, employee experience, and learning & development. Molly has spent her career fascinated by how meaningful change happens at the individual, team, organization, and systems level. Molly began her career as a high school government teacher and curriculum specialist in Baltimore and then as a coach to hundreds of teachers and school leaders. In her work, she led Baltimore City Public Schools’ first internal principal preparation program and helped reimagine and bring to life Teach For America’s teacher training Institute driven by the desires of the community it serves in New York. Since then, she has worked at the intersection of entrepreneurship, strategy, and social impact at Samsung NEXT and fin tech startup Sequin. Molly holds an MBA from the University of California-Berkeley Haas School of Business, a Master’s in Teaching from the Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
